Neijiang Huacheng Textile mill, a large scaled, second grade State owned
enterprise, former name "Sichuan Neijiang textile mill", was
founded in 1958. It now possesses 80,000 yarn spindles (20,000 of them are
imported advanced production line), 12,000 thread spindles and 2,000
looms. With an enrollment of 5,700 workers, including 375 experts and
technicians (among which 18 senior and 165 junior), it has an annual
output of 11,000 tons of yarn and 60 million meters of grey. It also
produces pure cotton, poly cotton, synthetic fabrics and 60s to 120s high
class spinning yarn and thread for exportation, military and civilian
demand, and exportation covers about 35% of its productivity.
¡¡ Superior quality of the products. While adhering to the principal of "customer priority, success by quality", it enhances the quality control, and improves the quality guarantee system. Two of its products once gained the State Silver Award, and 10 were awarded as Provincial Superior Quality products. The series of twill products are elected as "Sichuan Famous Brand". The "Sichuan Famous Brand", pure cotton twill series are of the advanced domestic standard, and 60s to 120s cotton spinning yarn & thread are of the advanced international standard, which are demanded by many branded local factories for weaving. ¡¡ The company largely increased investment for technical improvement, and imported auto winders, combing machines and spinning machines etc to set up a high-class yarn production line of 20,000 spindles. Of all the weaving equipments, one third are of 90's advanced international level, and one third of 90's advanced domestic level. Since 1979, it has been producing for exportation. With the 20 years' experience, it surly has strong ability for export products. In 1997, it was authorized to import and export, and then became a main export enterprise in Sichuan, for it's annual income of 8 million US Dollars. In June, 1998, it was compacted by China Huacheng (Group), and started the assets reorganization and innovation of internal managing and operating system, which greatly strengthened its ability of adaptation in the market.
